Bengaluru, Agencies: The cabinet may expand in Karnataka today. This new cabinet will consist of 7 new members. Today, seven new ministers will take oath as part of the cabinet expansion. The names of these seven new members joining the cabinet have been stamped. However, one member is yet to be finalized in his name. The name of MLA Muniratna is being discussed. His name was suggested by CM BS Yeddyurappa, but the high command has not yet approved his name.
These 7 will be ministers
The Karnataka cabinet has 27 ministers including the chief minister. There are 7 empty seats in the cabinet. Among those who became ministers were Murgesh Nirani Umesh Katti, Angara, Yogeshwar, Arvind Limbavali, MTB Nagaraj, Shankar R. Excise Minister H.K. Nagesh can be removed from the cabinet. All of them will take oath as ministers at 4 pm today.
